5K

Thank you Karen for the idea of running the 5K in Grand Haven. I really enjoyed it. Thanks to Karen, Jill, little Sara, Linda, and Melissa for being great running role models for me.

Summer Fun

July has been great. Jogging, boating, and relaxing. Tracker likes to play in his pool as if he is at the lake.

Happy 20th Anniversary

I can't upload the picture, but Ted did it again. He created a card just for me. The picture on the front is a bowl of ice cream with 20 scoops and on the inside this poem:

Today we are 20 years in the making
My belly is bigger from all your baking.

We've been together for better or worse
sometimes I've even, carried your purse.

We have drank a few beers and
shed a few tears - there goes the neighborhood-
our neighbors are (just nice guys so get over it)

We started with tuna, noodle casserole
I thank god for our blessings and filling our bowls

One by One, the years have gone by
I've enjoyed all the memories, time sure does fly.

You really are the girl of my dreams
adn I know that your favorite
is really Ice Cream!

you put up with all, of the dumb stuff I do
You take care of me when I have the flu.

For these things and many, many more too
I love you my Shelly, I really DO!
